Modular 6 m³ recirculating aquaculture system with complete factory configuration
The modular 6 m³ recirculating aquaculture system is designed for industrial fish farming in controlled conditions. The solution is fully integrated and requires no design, equipment selection or installation work. All key components of the system — from water treatment to filtration and aeration — are assembled in a single housing and tested in production.
Design parameters and technical characteristics
- Dimensions L*W*H (mm): 2700 × 2000 × 1200
- Housing material: food-grade polypropylene, 10 mm thick
- Weight: approx. 400 kg
- Power consumption: up to 1.7 kW/h (without heating system)
The internal architecture of the module is divided into two functional segments: a growing area and a technological compartment with a water purification and treatment system.
Scope of delivery
The system is delivered assembled and includes:
- Food-grade polypropylene housing with integrated filtration zone
- Automatic drum filter for mechanical cleaning
- Biofilter with two types of loading for nitrification processes
- Energy-efficient circulation pump
- A UV steriliser for pathogen suppression
- Air compressors with sprayers
- Factory piping circuit
A heating system can be installed as an option, including an electric boiler, heat exchanger, pump, thermostats and automation.
Operating principles and advantages
The module does not require any installation work. Commissioning is limited to connecting to the mains and filling with water. Automatic filtration and circulation systems ensure stable environmental parameters without operator intervention.
Key advantages:
Isolation from other installations — minimisation of cross-contamination risks. Independent operation of each module. Energy savings through the use of low-power pumps and compressors. Modular scalability of production. Support for customised solutions for heating, automation and external insulation.
Supported fish species
The system is suitable for farming both traditional commercial species and thermophilic species:
- African catfish (Clarias gariepinus)
- Tilapia
- Rainbow trout
- Arctic char
- Carp
- Sturgeon hybrids: sterlet, sterlet, sevruga, etc.
Stable water conditions help reduce stress factors, increase survival rates and biomass growth.
Application
The module can be used for fish breeding in small and medium-sized farms, as part of large-scale production with segmented bioblocks, as a system for rearing fry before transfer to ponds or cages, for educational and demonstration purposes, in quarantine or isolation rooms, in ornamental fish-farming, including the keeping of koi carp and other species.
Economic feasibility
When breeding catfish or other fast-growing species, the payback period for the module can be as short as 6 months, depending on the market model — the sale of live fish, fillets, smoked products or fry.
Additional options
Upon request, the design can be adapted to individual requirements. Increasing the volume of the pool. Modification of the filtration system. Automation of feeding processes. Insulation cladding. Comprehensive thermal solutions for winter operation.
