The 150 m³ drum filter for RCDs: a reliable solution for water purification.
Modern closed water systems require effective mechanical filtration, and the 150 m³ drum filter fulfils this task to a high standard. It removes the smallest contaminants, prevents the accumulation of organic matter and provides stable conditions for aquatic life.
This model is designed to meet the needs of fish farms and aqua-farms where both performance and reliability are important. The filter housing is made of 12 mm thick food-grade polypropylene, which guarantees resistance to moisture, chemicals and mechanical stress. Inside it there is a 750×1200 mm drum equipped with a stainless filter mesh with 63 micron mesh. This degree of purification allows to remove even the smallest particles of suspended matter, preventing water turbidity.
The water is fed through the inlet connections (4 with a diameter of 110 mm and two with a diameter of 160 mm) and passes through the drum screen. All impurities are trapped on the surface of the screen and the treated water exits through the outlet connections (similar configuration). When the contaminant level reaches a certain threshold, the inbuilt level sensors activate the self-flushing system. The drum starts to rotate and a powerful pump directs water jets onto the screen, flushing accumulated particles down the drain. This is an automatic process that does not require operator intervention, which greatly simplifies operation.
The drum is powered by a 250W gearmotor designed for uninterrupted operation around the clock. Reliable design and well thought-out control system make this filter an excellent solution for large-scale fish farms, installations of water treatment plants, as well as for water treatment in ornamental and technical ponds.
